The objective: Grow CMC’s following on social media and establish thought leadership
The challenge: A key part of CMC’s business is its partnership with the semiconductor industry. Because semiconductors are in use in many everyday technologies, they are a connection point with much of CMC’s audience.
The campaign: Boomm created a series of high-level content pieces, memes and infographics to highlight important events in the semiconductor industry, such as the invention of the transistor. The fun, image-heavy content moves CMC away from self-promotion on social media and adds value for its audience.
The results: The content drove steady growth in CMC’s social following on all platforms, as well as consistent engagement with and sharing of the content. It also won a Hermes Award for social media.
